A Successful First Signing for Eternal Vigilance!
Well, I can’t be happier with the way Friday night’s signing at the Nebula Awards went. I was nervous, to say the least, being in a room with such profound authors as Michael Moorcock and Neal Barrett, but the whole evening couldn’t have gone more swimmingly! The turnout was fantastic and quite a few books were sold, so overall, a very successful first signing for Eternal Vigilance! The Nebula paparazzi were out in full force as well; I’ve never had my photo taken so many times by strangers! It was quite the experience. It will be interesting to see where those photos pop up on the web. Thank you to everyone who showed up to help me celebrate the release of my novel!! It was very touching to see all of the smiling supportive faces! And I have to say that, because I knew many of the people who turned out, it created quite a little buzz at the event amongst the other authors. “Who is that woman? She seems to know everyone!” LOL! 
Now I can’t wait for the next event!
I also wanted to thank Chris over at The Book Swede review blog for posting an announcement about Eternal Vigilance! It’s absolutely amazing how many blogs out there are picking up information about the book and its release. I can’t say “thank you” enough for all of the promotions and support! Over the past week and half I’ve also mailed out about 15 review copies to magazines and book review blogs. I have my fingers and toes crossed that the reviews will follow in the footsteps of the initial ones and be good ones.
